Two-thirds
The blog assignment for this week is to reflect on what concepts are applicable to my professional situation.
Hmmm...I have found this material to be extremely interesting. I have been challenged to think and have seen some truly amazing resources. But my 3 full-time jobs have kept me from being able to give this as much reflection as I would like.
Full-time jobs (or at least they feel they feel that way)
1. Mom
2. High school teacher (including AP Physics with the national exam just over a week away)
3. Online instructor with about 10 current students
4. Lead teacher for summer online courses with 3 instructors working under me...anticipating a record enrollment
5. Starting a major house renovation
Wait, that is 5...but you get my point. Oh, just remembered my 6th...Instructional coach (which doesn't officially begin until July, but for which I have already begun training and MUCH reflection.
So, to answer the question...I don't know. But after I have more than 15 minutes a day (maybe summer?!) to think about something besides all of the above listed, I think I will find nearly everything from this course applicable.
And as the title of this post shows, this week marks the two-thirds point of completion in the course. Or maybe it is that I am only able to give two-thirds of my mind to any one endeavor (and perhaps that is being generous).
